Shipping & Handling

Returns require proper authorization and RMA number issued by Bergeron Products Innovation / Steadyvolt.com for stock items.

All returned items subject to a 10% re stocking charge. Units Special ordered by the customer are not returnable.

Online shipping for 48 contiguous states via UPS Ground only. Please see S&H charges during checkout screen. UPS guarantees the day of delivery for every ground package you ship to any address within the 48 contiguous states, except for any ground package originating in Alaska or Hawaii.

If you live outside of the 48 contiguous states, we can ship the product to you by UPS 2nd day Air. We will contact you for shipping charges after checkout, or you can contact us for shipping charges before checkout.

Shipment Freight prepaid within 10 days of receipt of replacement unit or the customer will be billed for the replacement. Replacement will be shipped via UPS ground and freight will be paid by Bergeron Products Innovation.

Professionally packed and shipped from our business supply warehouse in St Petersburg, Florida / Downey, California.

  • Continental US (48 States) via UPS Ground Commerical, UPS Ground Residential, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS Next Day Air and USPS Priority Mail.
  • All US states including Alaska, Hawaii, and Tropical Paradises (Guam, Islands, Virgin Islands) via USPS Priority Mail. It is recommended that you select Priority Mail if your package is less than 3 lbs and you live on the West / East coast of the US since delivery is normally 3 business days.
  • PO BOXES, Military APO, Military FPO via USPS Priority Mail. (we do ship to APO AA, APO AE, APO AP, FPO AA, FPO AE addresses)
  • Canada vis UPS Canada Standard Service or Postal Service.

    UPS (United Parcel Service)
  • UPS Ground and 3 Day Select ships to continental US only.
  • Note: UPS does not ship to APO/FPO addresses to PO Boxes.
  • UPS is best for heavy packages that you do not need in a hurry.
  • Since we are in Texas (middle of country) most packages via UPS Ground take 2 to 5 shipping days.
  • Packages have declared value for insurance.

    Priority Mail (USPS - US Postal Service)

  • Priority Mail is quickest for light packages.
  • Normally, we charge the estimated shipping cost that you see when you place your order, but, if we are out of stock on items (which would effect package weight), we will charge the shipping cost from the postal receipt.
  • Packages normally take 2 to 5 work days for domestic and normally a week for APO/FPO addresses. However, depending on your location, it can take from 1 to 4 weeks to delivery to a APO/FPO address. (depends on military post)
    Important
  • If your shipping and billing address is different than you may be contacted to verify your order.
  • Please verify that you type in the correct billing address of your credit card. (normally, the same address that your bill is mailed to). An incorrect address, will cause problems processing your credit card and this will delay shipping.
  • Please verify that your shipping address is correct.
  • Please verify that your email address is correct.
    We will send shipping tracking information and other correspondence to you via email.
  • Most orders are shipped the same day or next business day.
  • Orders created on Saturday or Sunday are normally shipped Monday. (UPS / USPS are closed weekends)
  • If the shipping address is incorrect which causes the package to be returned to us, you may still be charged for shipping.
  • If your order contains one of the few items that are not currently in stock, you will be notified of any delay beyond 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays.)
  • Items will normally be shipped in a single box or shipping tube.
  • We may place smaller items in a larger items box if it will reduce damage or reduce shipping charges.
  • Some items may be repacked with additional padding to reduce damage.
  • The customer is reponsible for any customs, fees or other additional charges that may be placed on the shipment. If you live in Canada, you should expect the customs/border to add import duties, taxes, and fees that you will need to pay when UPS delivers the package.
    International Orders
    This information applies to all International orders, EXCEPT packages shipped to APO / FPO addresses.

    If the ShipTo address is a APO or FPO, please select Priority Mail.

    Due to the high cost of shipping and credit card transaction fees, we have these rules for international orders.

  • Minimum Orders is $100.00 US Dollars.
  • Payment for International Orders can be made by www.paypal.com, Western Union check, or credit card.
  • We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express.
  • You are responsible for customs, duties, fees, and anything else that the Customs/Border service may add.
  • If ship to is Canada, please choose Canada Postal Service (for light packages), and UPS Canada Standard service for heavy packages.
  • The most common shipping type, is 'Global Express Mail' to send your package via postal express mail.
  • If charges exceed what you pay or if you overpay, you will be contacted before shipment of merchandise for refund or charges.

     Product Warranty

    All Surge Suppressors Special built for a customer by BPI regardless of the Manufacturer will be under this warranty.

     If for any reason any surge suppressor Distributed by Bergeron Products Innovations should become damaged by lightning or power surges this warranty will apply.

     

    All  Surge Suppressors have a LIFETIME MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY Limited to replacement of damaged or defective unit to the ORIGINAL PURCHASING Customer, Customer must return the defective/damaged unit to Bergeron Products Innovations

    Any Surge Suppressors Distributed by BPI that has a LIMITED WARRANTY from the manufacturer, has a LIFETIME WARRANTY  from BPI, Limited to replacement of damaged or defective unit to the ORIGINAL PURCHASING Customer, from the manufactures original warranty, Customer must return the defective/damaged unit to Bergeron Products Innovations.

    EPD (Electrical Protection Devices) distributed by BPI on Steadyvolt.com That has a manufacturers warranty, the manufacturers warranty and protection warranty will apply.

    All UPS's come with a 2 year Manufacturers Warranty.

    Product distributed by Bergeron Products Innovations on SteadyVolt.com has a Lifetime warranty to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for Life from the date of dispatch from the Manufacturer or distributed by Bergeron Products Innovations or Steadyvolt.com

    This warranty includes, but is not limited to, damage due to over-voltages, damage due to an abnormally high number of surges and damage due to direct or indirect lightning strikes.

    The Manufacturer’s of Pro-Tech carries a $1,000,000.00 dollar products liability insurance.

    Product Warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product (at the Manufacturer’s or Distributor's sole option) which, in the Manufacturer’s or distributor's judgment, has not been abused, misused or altered. The supply of replacement Products may be conditional upon the Manufacturer performing a site power quality audit and implementation by the Purchaser of any resultant recommended corrective measures.

     

    All NON Surge Protection Electrical Devices have a LIMITED MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY Limited to replacement of damaged or defective unit to the ORIGINAL PURCHASING Customer, Customer must return the defective/damaged unit to Bergeron Products Inc.

    The scope of this warranty does not provide for claims against the Manufacturer or distributor for consequential damages or loss of operations or service or profits. This warranty does not indemnify the Purchaser from any consequential claims by a third party for damages or loss of operations or service or profits. The giving of, or failure to give, any advice or recommendations by the Manufacturer shall not constitute liability.

     

    THE PURCHASER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT LIGHTNING IS A NATURAL EVENT WITH STATISTICAL VARIATION IN BEHAVIOR AND ENERGY LEVELS WHICH MAY EXCEED PRODUCT RATINGS, AND THAT 100% PROTECTION IS NOT OFFERED AND CANNOT BE PROVIDED FOR. IN ADDITION, THE PURCHASER ACKNOWLEDGES THESE RISKS AND HAS DETERMINED THAT THEY ARE ACCEPTABLE FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE PRODUCT. THE PURCHASER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT THE PRODUCT IS INSTALLED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTIONS, AMERICAN NATIONAL STANDARD ANSI/IEEE C62.41.2 AND ALL RELEVANT NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTRICITY AND SAFETY STANDARDS AND CODES.

     

     Lifetime Limited Warranty Statement - Over-voltage Protection Device Product Warranty 

    Bergeron Products, Innovation., hereafter referred to as BPI, Inc., warrants its products, including but not limited to those manufactured to specification supplied to it for lifetime to the original retail purchaser. BPI, assumes no risk or liability for the results of the use of products purchased from it, including but without limiting the generality of the foregoing: Unsuitability of any product for the use in any circuit or assembly. Purchaser’s rights under this warranty shall consist solely of requiring BPI, to repair or, at BPI's sole discretion, to replace free of charge, F.O.B. Factory, any defective items received at said factory and determined by BPI, Inc., to be defective. The giving of or failure to give any advice or recommendations by BPI's shall not constitute any warranty by or impose any liability on BPI.

     

    The foregoing constitutes the sole and exclusive liability of BPI, AND IS IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY AS TO THE MERCHANT ABILITY, FITNESS FOR PURPOSE SOLD, DESCRIPTION, QUALITY PRODUCTIVENESS, OR ANY OTHER MATTER. In no event shall BPI, Inc. be liable for special or consequential damages or for delay in performance of this warranty.

     

    BPI, Lifetime Warranty for the BPI, E-clips, Eagle, or Pro-Tech surge suppressors: is limited to replacement of the damaged or sacrificed unit to the original purchase under the terms of the warranty statement. Customer must return the defective/sacrificed unit to BPI, freight prepaid. Upon receipt of the unit(s) they will be tested. If unit(s) are operable, they will be returned to you, if not operable replacement(s) will be sent. Replacements will be shipped via UPS Ground and freight will be pre-paid by BPI.
